Welcome to Battle, one of the oldest riding clubs in the country, having been founded in 1951 and still thriving today! We have important connections, one of which was that when at school in Benenden, the Princess Royal was a member! Everything here is run by a Committee, which is elected each year at the AGM. This is a smallish but very friendly club - we like to make people feel welcome, and only ask that you help out once a year.

The aim is to provide the members with events and training that they want, and to give them a helping hand when needed. We have a considerable amount of cups and trophies that are awarded to the winners of events at the AGM. These events include Dressage, Show Jumping and Hunter Trial Championships, which are run on a number of occasions throughout the year. We compete at team events, and individuals are welcome too, in fact we are open to suggestion - if there is something that you'd like to be organised, or you have any ideas -speak up!
