The club is run by a Committee, which is elected each year at the AGM. It aims to provide its members with events and training that they want. The club also awards various cups and trophies for the winners of those events. These events include Dressage, Show Jumping and Hunter Trial Championships, which are run over a number of events throughout the year, or are available via collaboration with other shows or equestrian centres.

There are opportunities to become part of a team in varied competitions organised at Area level, and while there is no pressure to do this, it is certainly open to those interested. As an individual you can also compete on behalf of the club, and we will support you.

Apart from training and clinics organised by the club, by joining you will also have access to Area 10 training. Visit the Area 10 website here.

We have a Facebook page so you can keep up to date with things, and we are happy to run advertisements for Club members without charge on our website. We’ll also forward on information we receive to our club members, if we think you’ll be interested.

As a Battle member you will also get e-mailshots telling you all about the club activities, what other clubs are doing and what ‘friendly’ competitions are being organised. We also operate a discount scheme that helps you with the cost of competing and training.

You can get as involved as you like, as a warm welcome is always evident! We try to hold a number of low-key events during the year, which are really helpful when bringing on youngsters or building rider confidence. Let us know what your interests are and what level you are at and we will always try to arrange something suitable.
